Private Cloud

A private cloud is infrastructure dedicated to your organisation: isolated resources, controlled perimeter, demonstrable compliance. LaMeDuSe operates a European private cloud : in France, Germany and Switzerland.

The problem you're facing

Public cloud shares everything: machines, network, and risks. For sensitive activities, healthcare, finance, defence, public sector, the segmentation evidence demanded by auditors and clients becomes a permanent fight against the hyperscaler's very architecture.

Our answer

Our private cloud gives you an isolated perimeter: dedicated resources, network segmentation, controlled encryption and contractual data location. Compliance stops being an exception to plead: it becomes a state of the infrastructure.

What LaMeDuSe takes care of

  • Dedicated, segmented environment on our European infrastructure
  • Contractual data location (France, Germany, Switzerland)
  • Encryption at rest and in transit, controlled key management
  • Network segmentation and per-client isolation
  • Structural GDPR compliance and DPA
  • Monitoring, backups and security included
  • Guaranteed reversibility: open formats

Our methodology

  1. 1

    Requirements study

Security, compliance, sovereignty, performance and cost: constraints drive the architecture, not the other way round.

  2. 2

    Target architecture

Architecture diagram, sizing, addressing plan and backup strategy documented before the first deployment.

  3. 3

    Progressive rollout

Staged implementation with validation at each step, workload migration and recovery tests.

  4. 4

    Operations & optimisation

Monitoring, capacity management, cost optimisation and planned evolutions.

Relevant technologies

Proxmox VEKubernetesOpenStackTerraform, AnsibleCeph, GlusterFS

Security

Environment isolation, encryption at rest and in transit, granular access control and centralised logging.

Hosting & infrastructure

Our own cloud operates from datacenters in France, Germany and Switzerland : a sovereign alternative to US hyperscalers.

Maintenance

Continuous monitoring, planned update cycles and the ability to scale without rebuilding.

Why LaMeDuSe

We host players under the strongest requirements, defence, healthcare, banking, public sector, whose data must never leave the European perimeter. Private cloud isn't a catalogue item for us: it's the infrastructure the group lives on.

Frequently asked questions

Dedicated gives you your own machines; private cloud additionally gives cloud services (orchestration, replicated storage, monitoring) on an isolated perimeter. You get dedicated isolation with cloud flexibility.

The unit costs more, the total often doesn't: no unpredictable usage billing, no data egress fees, and a fixed monthly bill. For stable load, private is generally clearer : and for variable load, hybrid answers.

Through architecture and audit: verifiable network isolation, per-perimeter encryption, access logging, and regular configuration audits. Evidence is provided for your own audits.

Yes: that's hybrid cloud : sensitive workloads on private, burst or specific services on public. We design both together, with unified monitoring.
